The Lithgow Gallery began it's existence in the main street of Longford, Tasmania. In January 2010 it moved to..

Tim Lithgow revealed  his gallery of art works to the public in Longford, Tasmania during December 2006.

In late 2009 the decision to relocate the gallery was made and in January 2010 the transfer to Elmslie Vineyard was completed.

Elmslie Vineyard is located along the West Tamar at Legana and Lithgow Gallery is now open 7 days a week for public viewing, from 9.30am until 4.00pm. 

The gallery boasts a large range of contemporary Australian Art and also includes a  feature room dedicated to early 1900's Australian Etchings.

The gallery features predominately Australian artists including; Hal Barton, Arne Brewster, Ken Hall, Robert Campbell and Carole Milton, as well as numerous others.
