2008 Elmslie "River View" Reserve Riesling
TASTING NOTES - The 2008 River View Reserve Riesling has a bright clarity with a pale tinge of yellow offering an aroma of floral honey with a fruity hint of green apple. To the palate there is a balanced, fresh finish with green apple after taste resulting in a medium bodied wine with very good length offering some complexity.
WINE MAKERS NOTES - Made with high quality, hand- picked grapes,
sourced from premium Tamar Valley boutique vineyards.
VINTAGE CONDITIONS - 2008 was a terrific vintage with consistent,
warm days and minimal disease. The fruit was exceptional, producing
‘hedonistic’ ferments and great wines.
