2009 Elmslie Sauvignon Blanc
TASTING NOTES - Our 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is highly
aromatic with a hint of asparagus, supported by typical
Tasmanian citrus elements. This is a delightful
and complex food wine, displaying persistent aromas of
vibrant tropical and citrus fruits. The palate is tantalising
with ripe fruit and a lively fine and crisp finish.
WINE MAKERS NOTES -
Whole bunch pressed, let settle for 2 days until juice is very clear. Ferment under 16 degrees for 14 -18 days. No copper added. Left on lees for 30 days after alcoholic ferment.
VINTAGE CONDITIONS - 2009 was a good vintage with moderate, warm days and average rainfall. Fruit was of low
yield, yet still good quality.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS - This wine matches very well with soft cheeses and is the perfect accompaniment to Goat’s Cheese Soufflé. Also a delightful wine to serve with
summer salads & white fish or citrus flavoured dishes.
