2010 Elmslie Pinot Gris
TASTING NOTES –
Pale, almost clear in colour this delicate crisp wine has good acidity, bursting with aromas of fresh orange blossom & passionfruit. Although quite dry & smooth an after taste of crunchy ‘Granny Smith’
apple & pear is very apparent.
WINE MAKER NOTES –
Whole bunch pressed, moved to coldtank to oxidise out any colour. Yeast added while cold, then warmed to ferment. Filtered before bottling.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS-
2010 was a difficult vintage with above average rainfall, cool temperatures and massive
disease pressure. Yields were very low, but the quality of the fruit good.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS –
A delightfully fresh wine to serve with white fish, especially fresh Tasmanian Flathead or creamy pasta dishes.
